Georges LOUBET

Georges, Joseph LOUBET was born the 27 fructidor of year 4 (September 13, 1796) in Clairac. He is the son of Etienne Loubet, a doctor, and Marie Henriette Commercy, his second wife.
On June 30, 1819, he entered military service as a soldier in the Lot-et-Garonne Legion, which became the 50th line infantry regiment on December 6, 1820. He was appointed corporal on July 1, 1819, sergeant on July 1, 1820, sergeant major on January 1, 1822, second lieutenant on September 24, 1830, lieutenant on April 25, 1835, and captain on January 30, 1841.
, He campaigned in Belgium in 1832. Captain in the 50th Line Infantry Regiment, he was made Knight of the Royal Order of the Legion of Honour on April 15, 1846.
