Operating instructions
The map we propose to you contains several maps backgrounds as well as several layers containing particular indications (boundaries of the district, public buildings, etc.). For ease of use, backgrounds and layers can be displayed or hidden.

As with most interactive maps you can:
  • Move the map by dragging and dropping it or by swiping your finger on the touch screen of a tablet or smatphone.
  • Zoom in and out with the mouse wheel or by clicking on those icons at the top left of the map.
  • Switch to fullscreen mode for better visual comfort.
  • Click on this icon to exit fullscreen mode.
  • Perform distance measurements. A click on the arrow icon starts the measurements (the icon turns green ).
    • Select different points on the map, the distances are displayed.
    • A new click on the same icon stops the measurements.
    • Clicking on the cross icon clears the measurements.
    • Clicking on the third icon allows you to change the unit of measurement ('m' for metre, 'mi' for land mile and 'nm' for nautical mile).
  • Choose the different backgrounds and display or hide the layers by clicking on the layer selector.
  • Select an element of the map by a left click of the mouse; a pop-up window appears displaying a description of the element in text and/or photo form.
