Who are we?

Many Clairacais are sensitive to this, so the time had come to mobilize energies to bring about new actions. Three people, with longstanding roots in the village on the banks of the Lot, do most of the work:

Clair Morizet

Clair Morizet is a publisher; he has successively worked at the Centre Pompidou, Citadelles & Mazenod, the musée du quai Branly, and now at the Centre des monuments nationaux. His family is deeply rooted in Clairac. He is president of the Association.

Frédérique Blin

Frédérique Blin came as a child to Clairac, to visit her grandparents Tramond. She and her husband Christophe settled there in 2015. The design agency created by the couple in 1996 has moved to the old family-house, while keeping an office in Madrid and a representation in Shanghai. A beekeeper by passion, she is also a Spanish teacher.
She is the general secretary of the Association.

Michel Lajoie

Michel Lajoie was born in Clairac, where he also lived during his school years. After working in Foreign Affairs (D.G.R.C.S.T.), he taught mechatronics in preparatory classes in Paris. He has recently moved back to Clairac and now lives in the house where he was born. He is treasurer and web manager of the Association.

The Association also has a Supervisory Board, as requested by its statutes, deposited at the prefecture. On Sunday 3rd June 2018, the first meeting of that Board was held in Clairac. It was an opportunity for those who decided to get involved in our - your - Association to assess, after 4 months of activities, the first achievements (creation of the Association, setting up its website, coordination of the conference...), and to brainstorm on the future.
